Incubation Programme:
The Office of Enterprise Development in the Department of Public Affairs conducts various interventions annually in assistance of local SMME’s. To that end MindColours Consulting was approached to provide an Incubation and Mentoring programme for a period of six months to 30 local entrepreneurs.
Sishen Solar Facility
Enterprise Development:
We have successfully trained and mentored a lady, Lerato Ntshabeleng of Boitsweletso from cleaner to a successful business owner, with contracts at Sishen Solar Facility and Kumba Iron Ore’s Sishen Mine.
Assmang: Khumani Mine
Beneficiary Development and Funding Administration:
The 25 entrepreneurs initially selected for the Kelebogile Trust programme were absorbed by Khumani Mine, with the intent of funding. MindColours Consulting was contracted to further develop these beneficiaries and administer their funding.
Kelebogile Trust: Kathu Solar Park
Enterprise Development:
This was an ambitious project, spanning the width of the entire JTG Municipal District, eventually identifying 25 entrepreneurs in every one of the 3 Local Municipalities. They were trained in Entrepreneurial Development and Personal Mastery over a period of 6 days, after which 25 entrepreneurs were finally selected, and 15 eventually undergoing Mentorship.

These interventions were aimed at addressing issues of team misalignment, lack of cohesion, and other dysfunctions that could have been festering.

Diversity Awareness
Issues of cultural diversity that threatened to derail the production process were addressed and successfully mitigated, allowing for the completion of the project on time.

Dingleton Resettlement Project
Self-Insight Workshop(SIW), Fundamentals of Feedback(FOF), Team Building(AEL)
A committee comprised of different stakeholders elected by the community to lead during the process of resettlement from Dingleton, for obvious reasons, were disjointed, experiencing difficulties in achieving goals as a collective. These interventions shifted their narrative to one of common purpose and cohesion.

Strategic Planning Session
We facilitated better understanding of the company’s strategic imperatives by bringing better clarity to roles different stakeholders play in the company strategic direction. By eliminating barriers to success we foster greater teamwork and alignment amongst stakeholders, making them become more effective.
Joe Morolong Local Municipality; Rural Water Reticulation Project
Rural Water Reticulation Project
Working with different stakeholders (Community, Engineers, Contractors, Local Municipality) to facilitate cordial working relationships while the project is ongoing in order to ensure timely completion of projects.
Community projects always run the risk of derailment because of a plethora of challenges experienced between communities and third parties. Mindcolours consulting assists municipalities and any other entities involved in community projects to prevent/ resolve/ mitigate potentially contentious issues threatening the success of said projects.
We are currently assisting the Joe Morolong Local Municipality with their rural water reticulation project and have been successful in quelling tensions and keeping the project on course.

Living Safer Beyond Compliance:
This is an intervention designed to shift the focus of Safety from an IQ (Head) perspective, and making it EQ (Heart), allowing employees to experience it on a very deep and personal level. We worked with employees at Support services and contractors at Kolomela Mine.
